RECENT PROJECTS
Bringing A Horror Comic To Life - Editing / Sound Design

Jexx approached me with a dilemma - they had written a short horror story that had been gorgeously drawn to life as a gritty
comic, but their attempts to turn it into a video were proving difficult. Despite a fully voiced cast, the early drafts lacked the suspense or depth it deserved, so I agreed to give it a shot.

I love getting to experiment with different types of content as this is completely different to anything I had done before. By combining subtle visual effects, panel transitions, and horror-themed SFX, the comic came to life in a way both Jexx and the comic artist were very happy with!

My work with Jexx also includes a multi-part series following D&D-style roleplay sessions combining the lore of both The SCP Foundation and Lobotomy Corp. These sessions were partially animated using PNG stills of characters, custom made backgrounds, and more, working to a small production budget.

Flashgitz 'Space King' QNA - Editing / SFX

This is just one of the 10+ long form videos I've fully edited for the Flashgitz side channel, Tom and Don. Often discussing their viral cartoon 'Space King' or anything Warhammer 40k related, these half hour videos are full of visual gags, sound effects, sourced assets, custom made graphics, and backing music. Despite having absolutely no knowledge of their work or hobbies before starting work together in 2025, they are an example of a client I have dedicated lots of extra time to by researching specific lore and information alongside delivering videos within their schedule.
In this particular video, I worked around scheduling issues which meant the video was filmed in two separate countries, as opposed to their normal studio. Frequently adjusting for international latency and working with varying video/audio sources, we've covered up Tom's absence by editing the boys into their cartoon's
'Psycho-Warrior' armour, allowing both to appear on screen as normal.

Any AI generated imagery in the backdrop was provided by the client, and unfortunately must be used in my edits for continuity - I do not use generative AI in my work.
Low Budget Music Video - Filming / Directing / Editing
This was a really fun project to bring to life, working around a low budget greenscreen/lighting set up and playing into super cheesy TV tropes. I'm proud of how this came together, especially given that the band couldn't be together in the room at the same time. By running the video through an old CRT TV, I managed to achieve shots with a genuine VHS-look too, adding another interesting layer to the video.

This project required a lot of custom background assets and logo
parodies that I manipulated or fully created in Adobe Photoshop!

I have edited every music video to date for The Losing Score, including lyric videos, more skit-based videos, compilations of live clips and studio recordings, highlight compilations, and even a full-length documentary on the creation of their first album that was screened at a local cinema.
