TIKTOKS/REELS/SHORTS, ADVERTS, PREVIEWS

Here's a collection of short-form videos I've made for various clients, not necessarily showcasing the most successful work, but highlighting the different styles and ideas that I can cover. I am always happy to experiment with new content styles!

STREAM HIGHLIGHTS
Promoting streamers with short but sweet highlight clips, enhanced with simple editing to keep viewers engaged and entertained

KEEP IT CLEAN

When I saw one of my YouTube clients posting video highlights to TikTok, I noticed how messy the layout was. Captions were too long and usually covered by the app's interface, clips were oddly spliced, and it just looked a bit unappealing.

I made this comparison edit to show him how it could be cleaned up and from here, I temporarily took over editing duties, helping him gain 7.2 million views in just 3 months, almost doubling his TikTok follower count.

While I would definitely improve things about this now, it proved how considering additional aspects such as readability or viewer retention can affect growth!

KEEP IT MOVING

When you're scrolling through TikToks or Instagram reels, still images can seem boring
and skippable.

By adding some subtle movements, visual effects and sound, this piece of artwork was brought to life and reached a whole new audience of viewers.

This approach hooks fans of the game in and keeps them watching until the realated is shown

at the end of the video!

While it may feel like the rise of TikTok has caused the downfall of long-form content (or at least our attention spans), short and snappy media was around long before doom-scrolling was born!

Usually in the form of TV adverts, short films, music videos, or previews, short-form content still has a home on the widescreen.

Here are some examples of shorter projects I've edited, including music videos and promotional content for bands, sponsored segments for YouTubers, highlight reels, and more.

THIS IS JUST A SMALL FRACTION OF THE SHORT-FORM WORK I'VE DONE SO FAR, AND I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE EVEN MORE!
